The 49th Cannes Yachting Festival runs from Tuesday 8 to Sunday 13 September 2026, across the Vieux Port and Port Canto. We will be there for the week — and we would rather spend it in conversation than in a crowd.
Cannes is where the European season opens. Around seven hundred boats, some six hundred and eighty exhibitors, and a good number of world premieres, spread across two harbours joined by a shuttle. It is also, for us, the one week of the year when the yachts we talk about all year are afloat within walking distance of each other — which makes it the right place to have a serious conversation about owning one.
If you are considering a new yacht, a structured investment, or simply want to understand what professional management actually costs and delivers, write to us before the show and we will set aside proper time.
Horizon Partnership
Horizon is our structured, income-led route into a brand-new Fountaine Pajot catamaran, professionally managed in the Caribbean or French Polynesia. Twenty-seven per cent of the acquisition returned as cash at the end of year one through the French Overseas Tax Credit, six to seven and a half per cent annual remuneration, two to three weeks of discounted owner usage each year, and a defined exit at year five or seven — with a five per cent capital bonus for those who stay the full term.
It is built on conservative revenue assumptions and controlled operating costs, not on fiscal efficiency alone — the programme is designed to stand on its operational merits. Horizon runs from 59 to 120 feet, sail for now, on four selected platforms: FPY59, FPY70, FPY80 and FPY120. Three of the four are at Cannes.

Latitude Partnership
Latitude is the ownership-led alternative. The yacht is held in your name through a dedicated ownership company — new or quality pre-owned, your choice of platform, based wherever you wish. Odyssea then runs everything around it under a single agreement: central agency, crew, technical management, financial reporting, compliance and shore logistics, at preferential owner rates.
Direct asset exposure, one accountable partner, and the option of a managed charter programme when you are not aboard.

Fountaine Pajot FPY59
The entry point to the Fountaine Pajot Yachts collection — and to Horizon — at 18.78 m / 61.6 ft, with a 9.46 m beam and 1.65 m draft. Three interior layouts run from three to six cabins — up to twelve guests plus two crew — around a 17 m² owner’s suite and a 29.4 m² flybridge. Two hundred and four square metres of upwind sail area, twin 110 or 150 hp diesels, and hybrid propulsion with up to 42 kWh of lithium available for those who want to move quietly.
For a first yacht at this level, or a second that has to be genuinely short-handed, the FPY59 is the platform we find ourselves recommending most often.
The new Fountaine Pajot FPY70
At 22.95 m / 75.3 ft with an 11.09 m beam, the FPY70 is where the collection becomes a crewed yacht. More than 226 m² of living space across eight possible configurations: three to six guest cabins, up to five crew in quarters with their own circulation, a 51 m² cockpit, a 31 m² flybridge and a 25 m² owner’s suite. Twin 300 hp engines as standard, 600 hp optional, on direct shafts. Up to 7 kW of solar and 64 kWh of lithium storage.
She sits squarely in the charter market’s sweet spot, which is why Horizon rates her the best risk/return balance in the programme — meaningful scale, attractive returns and consistent premium demand in both the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.
Fountaine Pajot FPY80
Twenty-four metres, 78.7 ft, on the same 11.09 m beam, drawing 1.5 m and displacing 77.7 tonnes at full load. Roughly 359 m² of living space: a 74 m² cockpit, a 40 m² panoramic flybridge, a 38 m² forward lounge, a 19 m² beach club and a 33 m² owner’s suite. Fourteen guests, five crew. Twin 480 hp as standard or 900 hp optional, 4,800 litres of fuel, a watermaker to 600 litres an hour, and optional lithium and solar.
The flagship of the Horizon programme, and the natural step for an owner who has outgrown a seventy and wants a beach club, a jacuzzi and a proper crew.
Simbad 55
The Simbad 55 is the first bluewater catamaran from the Alicante yard Simbad Yachts, with naval architecture by Pierre Delion and design by Franck Darnet — and now represented by Odyssea. 17.59 m overall, 8.92 m beam, 1.64 m draft, 173 m² of upwind sail area, twin Yanmars on saildrives, 1,200 litres of fuel and 1,000 of water.
She is offered in three specifications — Select from €1,895,000, Ultra from €2,380,000 and the full-carbon Legend from €2,990,000, all ex-VAT — with a 360° saloon in bleached oak and walnut, a deep forward cockpit and an XXL flybridge. If you want a yacht built to actually go, rather than to be seen going, this is the one to see.
Come and find us
We are not running a stand this year. We are at Cannes for the week, by appointment — which means an unhurried hour on a pontoon or over a coffee on the Croisette, rather than five minutes shouted over a crowd.
