Legend 1 is hull number one of the Simbad 55, the first bluewater catamaran from Simbad Yachts in Alicante — naval architecture by Pierre Delion, interior and exterior design by Franck Darnet. She was launched in 2026, has spent six months in the water and is registered, so she transfers as a second-hand yacht rather than a new build: no yard queue, no wait. She carries the Legend specification, the highest of the three levels the yard offers, and the difference is structural rather than cosmetic — a carbon mast, carbon furling boom and carbon forward beam, a full Carbon Technora sail wardrobe, twin Yanmar 150 hp diesels on ZF saildrives, an 18 kVA generator and an energy package built around 3,150 W of solar, an 800 Ah lithium bank and a 15 kW inverter. The layout is a 360° saloon on the main deck with the galley down, an XXL flybridge with its own bar module and helm, and a deep forward cockpit under the coachroof arches. Below, a master cabin and two guest cabins are each en suite, with separate crew quarters aft. With 1,200 litres of fuel, 1,000 litres of fresh water and a 220 l/h watermaker, she is set up for the extended, self-sufficient cruising the model was drawn for.
